First Baptist is a Southern Baptist church. We sing the traditional hymns along with songs of praise. The song service is designed to lift up Jesus. In addition, the choir presents Easter and Christmas musicals.
The sermons at First Baptist are always Bible centered. The Bible is our sole authority. We believe it, preach it, and seek to apply its teaching to our lives.
Being an evangelical church, our desire is to win the lost and disciple the believers. The Wednesday evening service is devoted to prayer and Bible study. We focus our study on one book of the Bible at a time from beginning to end.
All of our services are Christ centered. We believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins, that he rose from the dead on the third day, that he ascended to heaven and that one day He is coming again.
